One major highlight of this month: the Long Island CW Club has officially offered their full support for our Alfred Vail 20-20 Young Keyers Award — a huge step forward in recognizing young operators who are keeping Morse code alive and thriving.
The Long Island CW Club teaches Morse code to students of every age, all over the world, over video sessions run by volunteers. Their support means young operators working toward 20 words per minute have somewhere to learn, and it means the award is backed by people who teach this every week.
If you know a young operator working on their code speed, point them at the award — and at the club.
