Club Week is a week away — put your club on the map

Club Week runs November 1 to 8. Signing up takes a minute, puts your club on the national participants list, and gives you a week of ready-made reasons to invite people in.

Club Week runs November 1 to 8, and it is the one week of the year when clubs across the country do the same thing at the same time: open the doors, put a radio on the air, and show somebody what this hobby actually looks like.

There is no fee, no paperwork, and no requirement to be a NARA member club. Tell us you are taking part and your club is added to the national participants list, which is the page we point every new and returning operator at for the whole week.

What a club does with the week

  • Hold one open meeting and say so plainly on your own page and ours.
  • Put a station on the air somewhere the public already is — a library, a park, a fire hall.
  • Invite the people who passed an exam near you this year. Most of them have never been to a meeting.
  • Give one short talk worth turning up to. If you need a speaker, the National Presenters Panel will give you one
  • over video for nothing.

Sign your club up

One form, a minute of your time: Club Week. Tell us what you are planning, even if it is "coffee and an HF radio on Saturday morning" — that is exactly the sort of thing a visitor shows up for.

Not sure your club is listed with us at all? Search the club directory; if it is missing, add it while you are there, and the listing is yours to keep.
