We are pleased to announce that the National Amateur Radio Alliance has received its first major charitable contribution: a $500 grant from the Robert C. Albert Fund at the Chicago Community Foundation.
As a nonprofit organization, NARA relies on membership dues and donations to support our work and keep the organization moving forward. We take that responsibility seriously. As we grow, we remain committed to being fiscally conservative and making thoughtful decisions about how our members' and donors' dollars are spent.
Our goal is simple: to build a strong national association of amateur radio operators who want to see amateur radio thrive for generations to come.
NARA maintains several funds that allow donors to support the areas of amateur radio that matter most to them:
- Education and Outreach Fund — programs that introduce, educate, and engage the next generation of amateur radio operators.
- Spectrum Defense Fund — NARA's work to advocate for and protect the amateur radio spectrum.
- Scholarship Fund — educational opportunities for members of the amateur radio community.
- General Operating Fund — the day-to-day work necessary to operate and grow NARA and its programs.
We are extremely grateful to the Robert C. Albert Fund for its support and for investing in the future of amateur radio.
