NARA at Hamvention for the first time

The Alliance took a stand at Hamvention in Xenia, Ohio in May 2026 — our first appearance at the largest amateur radio gathering in the United States.

The National Amateur Radio Alliance attended Hamvention in Xenia, Ohio in May 2026 — our first appearance at the largest amateur radio gathering in the country.

It was a chance to meet members face to face, talk with club leaders about what a national alliance can do for them, and introduce NARA to operators who had not yet heard of us. Plenty of the conversations were about the things we spend most of our time on: antenna rights for operators living under a homeowners association, spectrum defense at the FCC, and getting newly licensed hams connected to a club near them.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the table, and to the volunteers who gave up their weekend to staff it.

If you would like to help at a future convention or hamfest, sign up to volunteer.
