What Club Week is
Club Week is a dedicated week each November that encourages amateur radio clubs to get on the air, connect with other clubs across the country, and exchange QSL cards. It gives clubs an easy, low-cost reason to energize their members, meet neighbouring groups, and show their local community what amateur radio looks like in practice.
How your club takes part
- Schedule at least one on-air activity between November 1 and 8 — a net, a POTA activation, a special event station, or a simple club-to-club sked.
- Exchange QSL cards with the clubs you work. NARA publishes a participating-club list so you know who is out there.
- Invite the public: an open shack night, a demonstration at the library, or a table at a community event all count.
- Send us photos and a short write-up afterwards so we can feature your club.
Why it matters
Clubs are where amateur radio is actually sustained — where new licensees find an Elmer, where equipment gets loaned, and where public service work gets organized. Club Week exists to make those connections visible and repeatable.
