About the club

CBCARG unites Christian amateur radio operators dedicated to fellowship, responsible radio use, and a love for camping and the outdoors. Based in Louisiana, we encourage spiritual growth, support one another, build technical skills, and serve our communities through faith, cooperation, and preparedness—creating lasting connections on the air and in person.

We are faith‑centered. CBCARG isn’t just a radio club — it’s a Christian fellowship that uses radio, camping, and service as ways to grow spiritually and support one another. We blend radio with the outdoors. Camping, outdoor adventure, and radio go hand‑in‑hand here. It’s part of our identity and part of our ministry. We serve our communities. CBCARG encourages preparedness, emergency communication skills, and being ready to help neighbors during storms, outages, or crises.

We welcome all skill levels. New operators, youth, and seasoned hams all have a place. Mentorship is a core value. We are Louisiana‑rooted but open to all. Our home base is Louisiana, but our fellowship reaches beyond state lines through radio nets, events, and shared faith. We value integrity and encouragement. Members lift each other up, celebrate wins, and support one another in life, faith, and radio. We build real relationships. Not just QSOs — genuine friendships formed around faith, service, and outdoor fun.
